Yunnan Daili and LiJiang (大理,丽江)
Taking the advantage that I was in China working on a project, I went to visit my dad in Sichuan. Then with him we visited relatives in Yunnan. Here are some pictures
It is a very nice little town that has not lost its heritage. The first image is a new development area in the town where all buildings are built in the traditional style.
Here is a newly developed part called "Thousand-Lion Mountain", where all the stones on the mountain are carved into lions. This is a picture of the biggest Lion of all -- Loin King
These temples are built on the cliffs. The old ones were destoryed during the war and the culture revolution. Theses are rebuilt by the local folks in recent years.

So this is the blog that I am using to log all the outdoor activities that I am having out side work. Hiking, snowboarding, traveling, ect.
I have just abandoned Yahoo! 360 because it only allows one photo per blog entry, which is pretty lame. Let's see how this one goes.
Here are some nice pictures that was taken during the last year's Yellowstone trip. We didn't get to do a lot of hiking, so we are considering going back there and camp out.
